Opportunity

A well‑established UK manufacturing business is appointing an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead site EHS performance, strengthen compliance and support a robust safety culture across a busy industrial operation. This is a hands‑on, site‑focused role reporting directly into senior operations leadership.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain site EHS management systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Own the internal audit schedule, support external audits and drive corrective actions.
  • Manage risk assessments (including COSHH / PUWER where relevant), controls and continuous improvement.
  • Lead accident / near miss investigations and implement preventative measures.
  • Ensure strong contractor controls (RAMS, compliance checks, site rules).
  • Deliver practical site engagement, including inductions, toolbox talks and training support.
  • Coordinate with external specialists where required (for example for risk assessment support).
