This is a unique and challenging opportunity to take on multi-site responsibility across an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing business that is looking to strengthen its approach to consistent Health and Safety management. Having advanced over the past two years through successful projects to increase manufacturing and headcount, Health and Safety remains a key focus.
While this role is multi-site focused, it also requires hands-on responsibility across all Health and Safety aspects, not just oversight.
The manufacturing environment's unique nature necessitates previous experience in radiation and/or radioactivity, including creating consistent procedures and supporting local site challenges to maintain compliance.
The business plans to expand its facilities, and the HSE Manager will be responsible for developing new documentation and processes for implementation.
The position is primarily remote but requires travel to various sites in the UK approximately once a month. Flexibility to travel is essential. A car or car allowance is included in the benefits package.
Initially, for the first six months, three days on-site at a South-East facility in Surrey will be necessary to address immediate challenges.
