Responsibilities
- Coordinating and implementing knowledge updates between external provider and CSL stakeholders.
- Overseeing processes to ensure there is a consistent global approach to all aspects of entity management
- Overseeing training requirements for subsidiary directors.
- Payment of dividends
- Coordinating the two annual dividend payment cycles (working with Treasury, AU Entity Governance Lead and CSC)
- Coordinating regular meetings with key stakeholders to facilitate information exchange and promote a consistent approach to all entities, risk assessment and governance entities
- Coordinating annual board meetings
- Coordinating Director appointments and corporate changes.
- Working with regional Finance, Tax and Legal counterparts to coordinate information at a group level to assist with a smooth statutory accounts process/ annual confirmation statement.
- Working with the sustainability team to coordinate annual reports or other sustainability related reports.
- Working with Deputy Company secretary on strategic projects.
- Working with the Deputy Company Secretary and UK Governance Lead on other ad hoc projects
Qualifications
- Law degree desirable. company secretary certificate, paralegal or prior experience
- Significant and effective engagement with senior business stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels including senior management
- Excellent Organisational skills with an aptitude to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to synthesize and concisely but accurately present Group Governance positions and risks to executives and project team members
- Ability to provide balanced, timely reporting to immediate manager.
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple stakeholders as a a trusted adviser
- Ability to work in a matrixed yet agile environment with ability to prioritise multiple critical tasks, and flexibility to alter priorities as circumstances change
- Self-Starter with ability to work autonomously but also works effectively within a team and is a positive contributor to the team.
