Qualifications

The role

As an Enterprise Architect, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We are looking for a personable and professional Technical/Solution Architect with proven working experience within a complex organisation responsible for critical defence programmes. Closely working with government/MOD client, programme partners, and design collaborators, you will ensure the highest standards of cybersecurity across all stages of development.

Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Within a growing digital team, this role is responsible for a range of medium to enterprise scale projects within a wider defence programme.
  • Responsible for the scoping, designing and presenting solutions to key stakeholders through discussion, written proposals, formal presentations, whiteboard workshops and diagrammatic storyboarding.
  • You will be developing and maintaining a model of the current programme baseline and future IT systems architecture, integration and solutions roadmap.
  • Supporting bids and business change in estimating cost and preparing business cases for solutions.

This role is full time and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

Essential experience of the Enterprise Architect:

  • Must have experience in Technical Architecture and solution design.
  • Advantageous to have proven experience in Product Lifecycle Management tools (PLM), Digital Manufacturing systems, as well as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) tools.
  • Strong understanding of security principles is essential, and experience of accreditation and information assurance governance is advantageous.
  • Proven experience as a Solution / Enterprise Architect within regulated industries such as Nuclear, Aerospace or Defence industry.

Qualifications for the Enterprise Architect:

  • Relevant qualifications in Technical Architecture and solution design.
