Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our prestigious client based in the Trowbridge area who urgently require an Engineering Workshop Manager on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

In this varied, hands‑on role you will manage the engineering team to ensure machinery and equipment is fully functional, efficient and compliant, duties will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision of a small team
  • Overseeing and scheduling planned, reactive and preventative maintenance
  • Efficient stock management
  • Identifying operational issues and finding practical solutions
What you will need to succeed:
  • Previous mechanical and electrical engineering experience with a hydraulic and pneumatic bias
  • Strong supervisory skills and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels
  • Good level of IT skills including maintenance and stock management systems
  • The ability to prioritise with excellent attention to detail
