Qualifications

  • Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.
  • Experience fault finding within MHE and automation systems.
  • Experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Experience of conveyor maintenance and motor controllers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance on site equipment.
  • React quickly to equipment breakdowns and communicate effectively.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage contractor operations.

Skills

Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems
Fault finding within MHE
Interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
Conveyor maintenance
Experience with motor controllers and inverters
Sortation machines
Maintaining bar code scanners
Fault finding on building equipment

Education

Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 or equivalent
