Overview

• FMCG Food Manufacturing Location : Wrexham
• Shift Pattern : 4 on / 4 off (2 Days, 2 Nights)
• Salary : £54,000 Package

The Role

As the Maintenance Engineering Team Leader, you will:

• Lead and support a multi-skilled engineering team across days and nights.
• Drive high levels of equipment reliability, performance, and safety.
• Coordinate and prioritise planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and site standards.
• Support continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime and boost efficiency.
• Develop team members through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, and H&S teams to ensure seamless operations.

About You

• A time-served engineering background (electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled).
• Proven experience in a leadership or senior engineer role within FMCG, ideally food manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
• A solid understanding of CMMS, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement tools.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and team-leading ability.
