Engineering Supervisor

The Role

We are a leading food manufacturer seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead, develop, and inspire a team of engineers within our fast-paced food manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the General Manager, this is a hands‑on leadership role. You will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all plant equipment and services, while driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. You will play a key part in supporting production, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance with strict food safety and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities

As the Engineering Supervisor, you will:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and manage a team of multi‑skilled engineers within the prepared factory

  • Maintenance Management: Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.

  • Technical Expertise: Diagnose and resolve electrical and PLC‑related faults on automated production equipment.

  • System Management: Manage and develop the site's maintenance system (MaintainX).

  • Compliance: Ensure all engineering activities comply with food safety, health & safety, and regulatory standards.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reduce costs.
