Engineering Sales Representative - Tooling Industry

Location: Home-based (Monday-Thursday) + Field Sales (company car provided)

Salary: £40,000-£50,000 + Commission & Bonus

Hours: Monday-Thursday (no hybrid working)

Are you an experienced tooling professional ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for a driven, ambitious Engineering Salesperson to join our dynamic team in the tooling and jig fixture industry.

About the Role

You'll play a key role in growing our business by developing new sales channels, maintaining strong client relationships, and securing new orders. Based in our office Monday to Thursday, you'll also be out on the road visiting customers, identifying opportunities, and driving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage customer accounts within the tooling and jig fixture sector
  • Generate new business and strengthen existing relationships
  • Prepare quotes, process orders, and ensure excellent aftersales support
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver tailored tooling solutions
  • Represent the company professionally during client visits and industry events
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the tooling and jig fixture environment
  • Strong understanding of machining processes - CNC experience highly advantageous
  • HNC or equivalent qualification in Engineering preferred
  • Proven track record in technical sales and business development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and driven to exceed targets
