Job summary

A leading UK water utility company is looking for a Project Engineer to manage engineering projects across various operational sites. You will oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and ICA projects with budgets from £100,000 to £1 million, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies. The role includes responsibilities from initial scoping to project handover. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000 plus benefits including a car allowance, generous holidays, and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Proven background in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety standards, particularly related to construction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver Mechanical, Electrical and ICA projects valued between £100,000 and £1 million.
  • Oversee all phases of the project from scoping to handover.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety policies and regulations.

Skills

Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil)
Coordination with multiple stakeholders
Self-motivated and initiative-driven
Experience in Construction or Engineering Project Management

Education

BTEC / HND in relevant discipline or relevant experience
