A growing engineering design consultancy is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for the regulated water sector in Manchester. The role involves leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams while ensuring the delivery of safe and compliant design solutions. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years in the water industry, strong management skills, and a relevant degree. This opportunity is suitable for both permanent applicants and outside IR35 contractors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in the regulated water industry.
• Proven experience managing engineering design teams.
• Strong understanding of civil, MEICA, and process design.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor multi-disciplinary engineers and technicians.
• Lead the delivery of design packages.
• Ensure designs are safe, compliant, and value-engineered.
• Drive design efficiency through BIM and digital engineering.
