The Client

The company is in the scale-up phase and aims to help millions globally make educated financial decisions, better than ever before. They have the backing of a large financial parent company and are pushing the growth of their brand-new mobile application launched recently.

The Role

They are seeking a talented Engineering Manager, ideally with a mobile background or experience managing mobile teams, to lead a cross-functional squad of exceptional software engineers across seniority levels. This is a people-focused management role focused on developing individuals, inspiring the team, fostering collaboration, delivering results, and crafting compelling career plans. Candidates who have progressed through software engineering roles in top engineering teams and can make strategic technical decisions are preferred. The role requires solid experience collaborating with product, identifying top performers, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Skills/Experience Required for Engineering Manager, Android, iOS & Backend, B2C | Fintech | London, Hybrid 2 Days | Up to £130,000 base, plus share options/benefits

• Proven impact working within a fast-growth B2C business, from start-up to scale-up phase, managing and leading a large team of circa 15 people.
• Experience working within Android and iOS Mobile applications
• Experience managing backend engineers
• Experience collaborating with Product.
• Ideally some exposure to Fintech but it’s not a must have.
• Confidence in setting the technical roadmap and implementing processes through strong communication skills.

Salary & Benefits

The salary for the Engineering Manager, Mobile, B2C, is up to £130,000 base. It also includes competitive share options, a discretionary performance bonus, and benefits.
