A leading distributor of raw materials in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee Engineering and Maintenance functions. The ideal candidate will possess at least an HNC qualification and demonstrate a solid history in manufacturing optimisation. The role includes leadership duties, standing in for the Transformation Manager, and managing continuous improvement projects. This position offers a competitive package of £60,000 - £65,000 per year plus bonus and enhanced benefits.

The Role

Reporting into the Operations Manager you will have the following duties:

• Stand in for the Transformation Manager as and when required.
• Leadership of direct reports.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and establish where CAPEX projects are needed to prevent future breakdowns.

The Person

Educated to a minimum of HNC in a relevant discipline you will have the following experience:

• Proven track record in manufacturing optimisation and improvement.
• Experience of leading and developing multi skilled people.
• Strong PC skills, Microsoft Package and ERP.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety.
