Job Title: Engineering Geologist

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000

A new opportunity has opened for an Engineering Geologist based in Glasgow.

You will be joining a respected multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy specialising in geotechnical and environmental engineering. The successful candidate will work across a variety of projects, undertaking both site-based investigations and office-based technical work.

Responsibilities
  • Design and supervise ground investigations
  • Carry out Phase 1 desk studies and prepare interpretative reports
  • Undertake geotechnical risk assessments
  • Complete soil and rock logging, sampling, and field testing
  • Support contaminated land assessmentsLiaise with clients and internal project teams
  • Mentor junior staff where needed

You will also work closely with senior geotechnical and geo-environmental specialists, developing your expertise while contributing to high-quality project delivery.
