The Opportunity:
Ford & Stanley Recruitment are working with a major UK train operating company to appoint an Engineering Contracts Manager. This is a key role within the Fleet Commercial function, responsible for managing high-value Rolling Stock leasing, maintenance, and modification contracts. The successful candidate will play a vital part in shaping the commercial strategy and ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable train services through expert contract management.
You\'ll be an experienced contract management professional with a background in engineering or a similar technical environment. While direct experience with Rolling Stock is beneficial, it\'s not essential; candidates from sectors such as transport, infrastructure, manufacturing, or utilities are encouraged to apply. Strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships are key to success in this role.
