A leading logistics provider in Pontefract seeks an Electrical Engineer for a full-time, permanent position. Responsibilities include conducting routine maintenance on production equipment, troubleshooting electrical faults, and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines. Ideal candidates will have NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, PLC knowledge, and experience with packaging machinery. We are recruiting for aElectrical Engineerto join our Team at IPS Featherstone on a Full time and permanent position.
Shift:Monday-Friday 08:00am-16:00pm.
Salary: £45,000 per annum.
Your job duties will include but not limited to the following;
The ideal candidate will come from anelectricalengineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time servedengineerwithelectricalbias including 17th/18th edition and have Packaging machinery experience, within a production environment. If you have worked on PLC systems, it would be advantageous. Also, able, and willing to work on AC-DC Drives and Invertors, process machinery, gearboxes, pumps, and other manufacturing processes. There is training and career development on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
