Engine Development & Maintenance Engineer

An automotive engineering firm specialising in high-performance powertrains is seeking a skilled Engine Development & Maintenance Engineer to join the team in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will work on engine tuning, assembly, and maintenance, including the use of our on‑site test bench facilities. You will have the opportunity to work on high‑performance engines, including F1 engines, contributing to engineering excellence.

Salary: £30k‑£40k depending on experience
Work Location: Milton Keynes
Start Date: Negotiable

Main Responsibilities
  • Assembly, tuning, and maintenance of engines
  • Engine performance evaluation using test bench facilities
  • Analyzing engine performance and proposing improvements
  • Collaborating with the team on engine structure and design considerations
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
Ideal Candidate
  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Approximately 3 years of experience with F1 engines or high‑performance automotive engines
  • Strong understanding of overall engine structure and mechanics
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Willingness to work on‑site in Milton Keynes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with passenger car engine development
