A major healthcare provider in Wales seeks dedicated professionals for its expanding endoscopy unit in Wrexham. The role involves delivering high-quality, patient-focused care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates should have recent acute NHS experience and be committed to continuous professional development, with access to bespoke training courses. We are expanding and refurbishing the Endoscopy unit on the Wrexham Maelor Site to move to a 7-day service and increase nursing staff to reflect this. Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board has access to 8 procedure rooms across three sites. Our procedures are varied and diverse and include diagnostics, therapeutics and surveillance, gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG insertion, bronchoscopy, EBUS, ERCP, and Double Balloon Enteroscopy (DBE), all delivering high quality care to our patients. We also host the Bowel Screening Wales Programme, providing a real range of specialisms to develop your skills and experience.

You will receive training in our endoscopy services and be supported by an in-house endoscopy lead with access to bespoke courses to progress knowledge and experience in this field. You will contribute to the delivery of a 7-day service and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of patient care.
