A major healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Nurse Endoscopist to join their team in Liverpool. The role involves assessing patients for safe endoscopy procedures and managing nurse-led clinics. Candidates should have a minimum of 12 months Gastro/Endoscopy experience and appropriate UK professional registration. The appointee will join the Nurse Endoscopist team who will be actively involved with the outpatients, consultant leads and wider members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that patients are assessed for a safe endoscopy procedure. As a clinical nurse specialist within the Nurse Endoscopist Team you will be responsible for: Telephone Assessment for patients who have been triaged for Endoscopy. Provide Surveillance Results over the Telephone. Perform telephone Clinics for review of New and Follow up patients. Review results and action appropriately. Liaise with wider members of the multi-disciplinary team. Review and Monitor of Data Collection and Audit. Work closely and ensure good communication and links with the Nursing Management and Operational Teams.
