Employment Solicitor - 1-4 PQE - Bristol

Location: Bristol office (Hybrid)
Hours: Full time
Salary: £50,000 to £75,000
PQE: 1-4 years

Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a leading national law firm currently seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their established Bristol-based team. This is a permanent opportunity offering high-quality work, a strong client base, and excellent career development within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of employment law matters, supporting clients primarily in the health and care sectors. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising on employee relations, disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Conducting and supporting Employment Tribunal litigation
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and procedures
  • Advising on TUPE and employment aspects of commercial transactions
  • Delivering client training and contributing to business development
  • Collaborating with colleagues across practice areas


Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor with:

  • 1-4 years' PQE in employment law
  • Experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Ideally, exposure to health and care sector clients
  • Strong technical knowledge and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
  • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset


Working Arrangements

  • This is a full-time role based in the Bristol office. A flexible hybrid working model is available, allowing for a blend of office and remote work tailored to client and team needs.
