Job description

A new opportunity exists with this highly regarded home counties firm in South Buckinghamshire.

They are seeking an employment solicitor with 4 years'+ PQE due to the increased level of instructions in their department. The work undertaken is varied, and you will work for an impressive client base on both contentious and non-contentious matters, mainly on behalf of employers and senior executives.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  1. Advising clients on performance management, absence management, disciplinary proceedings, and managing employee grievances and complaints
  2. Restructuring, collective information and consultation, TUPE, redundancy, settlement agreements, employment tribunal claims
  3. Providing support to the Corporate team
  4. Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, consultancy agreements, and employment policies

You will work closely with the Head of Department, acting for an impressive client list and playing an active part in business development, marketing, and networking.
