A leading employability service provider in Wells is seeking an Employment Adviser to provide advice and support to participants. You will help individuals overcome barriers to employment and motivate them towards achieving job goals. Strong customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a target-driven environment. You will provide advice and support to guide and encourage participants to overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals.
You’ll manage a caseload of participants, act as their coach and mentor, and be the primary trusted contact to build strong positive relationships, guide, motivate, challenge, encourage and help customers obtain sustainable employment. Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be target driven and a motivational adviser with initiative and the ability to seek solutions to problems, even under pressure without day-to-day supervision. Location: You will cover our offices in Wells/Yeovil
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
Closing Date: 16 September 2025
Salary: £26,500 to £29,545 per annum (dependent on experience)
