A reputable employee benefits firm in Maidstone is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Consultant to advise clients on group risk and healthcare schemes. You will build strong relationships, liaise with insurers, and support clients throughout the renewal process. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and technical knowledge of group risk and healthcare insurance. This position offers a competitive salary and hybrid work model.

Overview

Employee Benefits Consultant - Group Risk & Healthcare
Tunstall, Kent - Hybrid - 3 days office Tuesday - Thursday after probation
Salary up to £47,000 + bonus
PMI, Dental Insurance, Life Assurance, discretionary bonus
20 days A/L + 1 additional day per year up to 25 days
Paid study leave - GR1, CII.

Responsibilities
  • Advise clients - SME and Corporates - on the design, implementation, and management of their group risk and healthcare schemes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships - be the trusted advisor and consultant.
  • Liaise with insurers and providers to source and deliver the most suitable solutions for your clients.
  • Support clients through the renewal process, ensure claims and queries are managed efficiently and always maintain compliance.
  • You\'ll be curious and proactive in staying up to date with market and compliance developments and be confident in providing informed advice.
About You
  • Proven experience as set out above with a minimum of 2 years in this sector.
  • Solid technical knowledge of group risk - Life Assurance, Income Protection, Critical Illness - along with healthcare insurance - PMI, Dental, Cash Plans
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to present to clients face-to-face or via Video links.
  • Relevant qualification - GR1 or CII or IF7 or DipFA - or progressing toward this.
