Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a Trust Doctor (eqv. to ST3+ level) in Emergency Medicine for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will join a motivated team, provide high-quality emergency care, and participate in professional development opportunities. Experience in emergency medicine and NHS is required, along with full GMC registration. This role involves flexible shifts and significant clinical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine, some in the NHS.
• 3 months of experience in Anaesthetics and/or ITU services.

Responsibilities

• Work registrar (ST3+) level duties in the emergency department.
• Participate in clinical supervision and training.
• Negotiated non-clinical time in an area of special interest.

Skills

Motivated and able to work independently

Effective communication with patients and colleagues

Experience in delivering medical education

Ability to use point-of-care ultrasound

Leadership in quality improvement projects

Education

Full MRCEM or equivalent

Life support courses (ALS, ATLS/ETC, APLS)
