Job summary

A major health organization in Wales is looking for an Emergency Department Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join the team at Ysbyty Gwynedd. This permanent, part-time role involves being the first point of contact for patients and families, maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality, and working efficiently as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to speak Welsh to at least Level 3. The position provides varied working hours to cover a 24/7 service.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated English and Mathematics to GCSE level.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Customer Care.
  • Experience in customer service and ideally in NHS.

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient reception and administration in the Emergency Department.
  • Maintain confidentiality while dealing with patients and relatives.
  • Resolve patient queries effectively and courteously.

Education
