NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a global leader in Pipeline Inspection and Integrity Services who are looking to add an EMAT Data Analyst to their team. The client operates mainly in the Oil & Gas industry and specializes in Pipeline Cleaning & Caliper Inspection, Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer (EMAT) and Crack Detection (UTCCD, UTLCD). They are seeking a candidate to join on a monthly salaried contract basis and are happy for remote work from home to support worldwide projects.
Position Summary: The EMAT Data Analyst identifies obstructions in the pipeline. The client has subsidiaries worldwide; the EMAT Data Analyst reports to the Data Analyst Team Leader of the respective subsidiary and to the corporate Data Analyst Manager. The role ensures all tasks and projects related to the local subsidiary are executed according to plan, corporate standards, and policies approved by the Corporate Office.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities
- Checking and approving the tool performance during the PTT
- Checking the data quality of ILI runs
- EMAT Data Analysis (Valid or expired ASNT LIII or LII Certificate)
- Checking and implementing dig verification task at sites and preparing relevant reports
- Reviewing the software interface
- Reviewing software user manuals
- Preparing/Reviewing DAD quality documentation
- Ensuring accurate tool sensitivity values are provided to TM in Tool Checklist
- Preparing a specific Run assessment report
- Identifying obstructions in the pipeline
- Producing technically valid Preliminary / Final reports
- Informing HO-DAD about the results and/or implementing the results into the reports
- Ensuring coordinates are synchronized with the data
- Alerting R&D regarding software problems
- Updating documentation
- Producing and updating standard quality procedures
- Alerting the DA Team Leader / DA Manager regarding software problems
- Executing all other tasks as requested by DA Team Leader or DA Manager and/or Executive Team within the assigned job role

Skills & Experience Required
- College degree in engineering or related fields
- Database development and implementation experience
- Process analysis, requirement / functional specification development experience
- Quality assurance of databases, reporting experience
- Experience of working on large, complex and multiple databases
- Proficient in using analytical tools and instruments, e.g., Excel, Microsoft Access, Minitab and SPSS
- High ability to work with numbers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mind with logical information processing
- Professional level of English language
