Overview

Job Title: Electronics Engineer

About the Role

As part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of electronics design - from initial concept and simulation through to schematic capture, PCB layout, and testing. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in designing and developing electronic circuits for challenging environments, with a particular focus on low-noise and high-reliability applications.

Responsibilities
  • Circuit Design & Simulation - Using Altium Designer to create schematics and PCB layouts, developing analogue circuits to deliver optimum performance and reliability.
  • Analogue Circuit Development - Designing and troubleshooting analogue electronics, including sensor interfaces and signal conditioning circuits.
  • Low Noise Amplifier Design - Creating low-noise amplifier solutions for sensitive underwater applications, optimising for minimal noise and maximum signal clarity.
  • Coil & Transformer Design - Designing coils and transformers for efficient power transfer and robust signal coupling, with consideration for environmental factors.
  • Power Amplifiers - Developing high-performance power amplifier circuits for driving transducers and other demanding loads.
  • PCB Design - Producing detailed schematics and implementing PCB layouts with careful attention to signal integrity, EMC compliance, and manufacturability.
