Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturer in Worthing is looking for a skilled professional to manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and oversee the production process. In this key role, you will ensure all production documentation is accurate and aligned with manufacturing needs. Candidates should possess a relevant engineering qualification and experience in the electronics sector. This position supports new product introductions and requires effective collaboration with internal teams and suppliers during growth phases.

Job description

This is a key role focused on managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and the overall production process for a long-established, fast-growing electronics manufacturer in West Sussex. With over 50 years of experience and a strong reputation across sectors including medical, defence, aviation, automotive and marine, this opportunity offers a chance to join a modern and supportive organisation during an exciting period of growth.

In this position, you will be responsible for creating, importing, and maintaining accurate BOMs and all associated production documentation. You will ensure that product configurations, assembly instructions, test instructions, and packaging requirements are up to date, consistent, and aligned with manufacturing needs.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant engineering qualification and solid experience within an electronics production environment. You should be confident in interpreting technical drawings and schematics, highly accurate with data, and experienced in working with MRP / ERP systems.

The role includes supporting New Product Introductions, implementing engineering changes and working closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers to resolve technical queries and support smooth production flow.
