Job Description

Electronics Engineer – Low-Power, End-to-End Development

Warwick, UK | Product Innovation | ️ Consultancy Environment

We’re looking for a talented Electronics Engineer with at least 4 years of commercial experience designing low-power electronic devices from scratch. If you’re an Electronics Engineer who thrives on building things from the ground up — from schematics through to production — this is your kind of role.

Join a multi-disciplinary consultancy working across medical, industrial, consumer, and transport projects. As an Electronics Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and industrial designers to bring innovative ideas to life.

What You’ll Do as an Electronics Engineer

  • Design, build, and test small, low-power electronic products
  • Full lifecycle responsibility: schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, prototyping, and debugging
  • Develop power-efficient, compact circuits with DC-DC converters, microcontrollers, and sensors
  • Take projects from early concept to mass production
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams and client-facing innovation as a hands-on Electronics Engineer

What We’re Looking For in an Electronics Engineer

  • A minimum of 4 years commercial experience (not academic) as an Electronics Engineer
  • Solid experience in low-power, mixed-signal, and embedded circuit design
  • Excellent grasp of DFM, DFT, and EMC considerations
  • Strong proficiency in tools like Altium, KiCad, or equivalent
  • Experience working as an Electronics Engineer in a consultancy or regulated industry is a major advantage

What Makes a Standout Electronics Engineer

We’re not ticking boxes based on years alone.

A 4-year Electronics Engineer from a direct competitor may be stronger than someone with longer tenure elsewhere.

We’re after depth, relevance, and end-to-end experience.
