Job description

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between 07:00 and 17:00

Are you experienced in refurbishing white goods and washing machines? Do you enjoy stripping electronics down? Can you follow instructions and learn quickly? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client is a rapidly growing logistics company based in Sheffield, currently recruiting for an Electronic Assembler. This is a permanent role after successfully completing a 12‑week probation period. Join a company that values and develops its employees, offering full training and a range of benefits.

Daily Duties Include:
  • Modifying new machines, including fitting ozone injection systems, changing electrical phasing, fitting soap injection, converting to coin‑op card reader machines, fitting SAFE systems, and re‑branding machines.
  • Reprogramming onboard computers with a tablet.
  • Refurbishing used machines.
  • Picking required parts.
  • Performing other daily workshop duties.
Training and Skills:
  • Full training on maintenance and repair of all products will be provided.
  • Knowledge of using tools and problem‑solving abilities is essential.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ideally from a white goods environment, but other similar backgrounds will be considered.
  • Technical problem solver able to fix both mechanical and electrical issues.
  • FLT licence would be advantageous but not necessary.
