Electrical Response Technician (Lighting & Fault Finding)

£17.50 per hour PAYE (paid monthly) + overtime/OOH premiums

On-call: 1 in 8–9 weeks

Travel: Door-to-door paid

Are you an experienced Electrician looking for stable, well-paid work with real variety? Want to move away from purely domestic jobs and work on commercial and retail properties instead?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly respected building and mechanical services business with 60+ years’ track record across the South East. Due to continued growth, they’re expanding and hiring electricians into a compliance-led response team.

The role

You’ll be working across commercial/retail sites (leisure and hospitality environments), primarily focused on:

• Lighting circuits, fault finding, and safe, compliant repairs
• Basic emergency lighting checks and straightforward remedials
• Evidence-led job close‑out (notes/photos/test sheets) and a first‑time‑fix culture
• Work is planned as close to home as possible. Where travel is required, you’re paid door-to-door.
