Job description

Role

We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our responsive maintenance team in Kingston. Within this role, you will install, service and maintain electrical systems and appliances in domestic properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake routine maintenance and servicing to electrical systems and appliances to required standards.
• Trace, locate and rectify faults and ensure systems and appliances are left in a safe and serviceable condition.
• Report all faulty appliances / installations that do not comply with current regulations.
• Communicate effectively with your line manager / supervisor, residents and the scheduling team.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrician
• Must have 18th edition and full qualification to support (Essential)
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
• NVQ qualification (desirable)

Other Key Information

• Full UK driving licence
• Working hours 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday
• Participate in out of hours (OHH) rota
• Company will carry out a DBS check
• Own an Android or IOS mobile phone which you will use as part of your job (BYOD)
