A leading housing association in the North East is seeking a Domestic Electrician to carry out electrical maintenance and repairs in residential properties. The ideal candidate should have relevant qualifications and experience in a domestic setting, along with strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach. Qualifications

  • Sound experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting.
  • Experience of working for a social Landlord, Housing Association or Council.
  • Full current valid driving Licence essential as this is a mobile role.

Job description

Domestic Electrician required to work with leading Spennymoor based Housing Association covering the Durham and Surrounding North East region. My client one of the North Easts leading housing associations is looking to recruit an experienced and professional electrician to carry reactive and planned electrical maintenance on a permanent contract.

We are looking for a team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.

Work will include carrying out remedial work, general maintenance, and repairs across our properties. You will also be responsible for undertaking all damp associated electrical repairs and accompanying multi-skilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high-quality standard whilst delivering an excellent customer service.

Requirements
