Overview

We are hiring 4 skilled Industrial Installation Electricians for a high-profile project near East Midlands Airport (EMA). This 4-6 week project starts on a Monday and involves the installation and commissioning of complex automated conveyor systems in a new logistics warehouse. Precision and adherence to strict industrial safety and quality standards are mandatory.

Responsibilities (Scope of Work)

• Containment: Installation of heavy-duty containment systems (tray basket ladder conduit).
• Installation & Wiring: Running glanding and terminating SWA power and multi-core control cables to 3-Phase motors sensors I / O panels and control gear.
• Commissioning Prep: Assisting with control panel wiring connection pre-commissioning checks and essential testing.
• Documentation: Accurate interpretation and application of electrical schematics and engineering drawings.

Essential Requirements

• JIB Gold Card (Approved Electrician).
• Industrial Experience: Proven track record working on conveyor automation or heavy industrial machinery projects.
• Testing Proficiency: Competence in initial verification insulation resistance and continuity testing.
• Safety & Compliance: Strong adherence to HSE regulations and site-specific protocols.

Pay & Working Conditions

• Rate of Pay: 27.00 per hour
• Hours: Typical working week is 50 hours.
• PPE: Must supply own standard electrical hand tools; specialist tooling and PPE will be provided.
