ELECTRICIAN - INSPECTION & TESTING / REMEDIAL WORKS

💷 £23 per hour | 40 hours per week | Long-term contract

We are recruiting qualified Electricians to carry out inspection, testing and remedial electrical works across local council properties in Fife. This is long-term, stable work with consistent hours.

Scope of Works

• Electrical Inspection & Testing (EICRs) in occupied and void council properties
• Identifying C1, C2 and FI observations
• Carrying out remedial works to bring installations up to compliance
• Minor rewires, board changes, circuit repairs, accessories replacement
• Emergency lighting and general fault finding where required
• Accurate completion of certification and reports

Key Responsibilities

• Test and inspect domestic electrical installations in line with BS 7671
• Diagnose faults and complete remedial actions safely and efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with local authority standards
• Maintain high standards of workmanship in tenanted properties
• Communicate professionally with tenants and site supervisors
• Complete paperwork digitally or manually as required

Requirements

• Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification (preferred)
• Experience working in social housing / council properties
• Own tools & transport
• Strong knowledge of fault diagnosis and remedial repairs
