Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Our client has built a trusted name in delivering high‑quality electrical, solar, and EV installation projects for domestic, commercial, and industrial clients. They are now looking to expand their skilled team with an experienced and motivated Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Solar & EV Installer.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and testing work, with a focus on solar PV systems, EV charging points, and general electrical services. This is a field‑based role, working on various projects within a 30‑50‑mile radius of Corby. You'll be joining a collaborative, professional team that takes pride in delivering high‑quality workmanship and exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in domestic, commercial, and light industrial environments.
  • Install, commission, and maintain solar PV systems and EV charging points to industry standards.
  • Conduct periodic inspection and testing in line with BS7671 (18th Edition).
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Liaise with clients and site managers to ensure smooth project delivery and clear communication.
  • Complete all required documentation, test certificates, and reports accurately.
  • Maintain company‑provided equipment, tools, and vehicles in good working order.
Essential Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • AM2 qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and testing.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
Desirable Requirements
  • 2391 (Inspection & Testing) qualification.
  • Experience with solar PV and EV charger installations.
  • ECS / JIB Gold Card.
Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
