Job summary

A leading electrical compliance company is looking for a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester to perform electrical circuit testing in commercial properties around London. The ideal candidate will have the 18th edition qualification and a 2391 testing certificate. Excellent customer service skills are essential. This position offers a base salary of £36k, with potential earnings of up to £46k including bonuses and overtime. Benefits include a van, phone, and fuel card.

Qualifications

• Must live in or around London, ideally towards the east side.
• 18th edition qualification required.
• 2391 testing certificate or equivalent needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fixed wire electrical testing in commercial properties.
• Perform PAT testing and emergency lighting tests if qualified.
• Cover commercial buildings and supermarkets in the London area.

They are NICEIC, CHAS, Safe Contractor and BAFE compliant and take their service very seriously to make sure their clients always come back in the future.

They are recruiting for a fixed wire electrical tester you will be:

• Doing fixed wire electrical circuit testing in commercial properties
• Also doing some PAT testing and emergency lighting tests if you have the experience
• Covering around London area with more being over towards the east side
• Working in offices, commercial buildings and supermarkets

Skills / experience needed as a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester

• Living anywhere in or around the London area, ideally over towards the east side - south Essex, north kent, east London
• 18th edition needed as well as your electrical 2391 testing certificate or equivalent
• Having your AM2 certificate or NVQ Level 3 equivalent would be very beneficial
• Great customer services skills for when you are on site
• Be able to pass a DBS check
