Job summary

A leading water company in the UK seeks an Electrical Technician for their Beckton Sewage Treatment Works. You will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing equipment to ensure operational efficiency while adhering to health and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a strong electrical engineering background, preferably with NVQ or C&G level 3 certification. The role offers a salary up to £42,000 per annum along with other benefits, including 24 days holiday increasing with service and a generous pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Time-served apprentice with significant experience in mechanical/electrical systems.
  • 18th Edition preferred, training can be given.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety issues relevant to the industry.
  • Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical plant and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Provide specialist technical advice and training to staff.
