Job Title: Electrical Site Supervisor - Water Sector
Location: Guildford
Rate: Up to £400 per day
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Overview:
We are currently working in partnership with a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering key projects within the Thames Water Framework. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor with a strong background in the water sector to join the team in Guildford.
Key Responsibilities:
·Interpret and deliver client requirements through effective supervision of engineering design solutions.
·Liaise with the supply chain to support project delivery and commissioning.
·Apply sound technical judgement throughout the construction phase.
·Provide hands-on support to contractors within the electrical discipline.
·Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards across all works.
·Coordinate with internal teams, client representatives, and supply chain partners to achieve project objectives.
·Organise and manage shutdown methodologies in alignment with project plans.
·Support the application and monitoring of Business Assurance System (BAS) policies and procedures.
Requirements:
·NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (City & Guilds or equivalent).
·Fully qualified electrician.
·ECS (JIB) Gold Card holder.
·Strong IT skills, including experience with web-based project portals.
·Proven experience supervising electrical installations on capital projects.
·Valid 4-day safety qualification (e.g. IOSH, SSSTS or SMSTS).
·CSCS and/or CPCS card required.
·Essential: Previous experience in the water industry.
