About the Role:

I am recruiting on behalf of my client for a Qualifying Supervisor in Peterborough, for an exciting opportunity in the electrical industry. This position is ideal for an organised, detail‑oriented professional looking to ensure inspection and testing compliance. You will play a key role in supporting accurate reporting and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain systems that enhance the quality and professionalism of services, ensuring both technical and administrative aspects meet the highest industry standards.
• Ensure day‑to‑day operations comply with relevant legislative, regulatory, and accreditation body requirements.
• Oversee the ongoing calibration and usability of the Electrical Department's test equipment.
• Respond to complex technical queries from employees and clients, providing guidance and support where needed.
• Conduct post‑audit inspections and certification reviews on completed works to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Review and monitor the work of field‑based engineers, ensuring quality and accuracy are maintained in line with company expectations.

Key Skills & Attributes:

• In‑depth knowledge of NICEIC compliance standards and accreditation processes
• Extensive industry experience, particularly in electrical work
• Minimum Level 3 electrical qualification
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification
• Strong understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations and relevant Codes of Practice
