Job summary

A leading construction company in Greater London seeks qualified Working Supervisors for ongoing projects until the end of 2026. The role requires supervising a small team while performing installation works for telecommunications on TFL Underground. Candidates must have essential qualifications such as SSSTS and an electrical background, with additional training in First Aid or similar preferred. A van is provided following license clearance, with work hours from 23:45 to 04:45, Sunday to Thursday.

Job description

Role Summary

These will be Working Supervisors. The Supervisor must be a qualified Electrician and also hold an SSSTS certificate. The SPC will be supervising a small team of around 4–8 Ops and working alongside the teams each night. A van will be offered, subject to passing a licence check and after they meet the required level. They must have experience running similar works on TFL and the Underground and possess an electrical background, with preferred knowledge of telecoms.

• Works: Installation of CMS including trunking, tray and conduit. Installation, termination and testing of CAT6A & fibre cabling. Installation & termination of field antennas and equipment.
• Shifts and hours: 23:45 - 04:45, starting ASAP. Sun to Thurs, weekends will be available at increased rates going forward.
• Station: Z1, Z2 & Z3 TFL Underground Sites.
• Duration: Ongoing works of this project until the end of 2026. Continuity of work depends on performance.
• Qualifications Mandatory: SSSTS, Sentinel card ICI, DBS, JIB Card, asbestos awareness, and Face Fit (undertaken or proof required).
• Additional Prefer Training: First Aid, PASMA, QUAF, or any other LUL training such as LV3.
