Job summary

A leading engineering firm is looking for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor for a permanent role in Peterborough. In this position, you will manage all electrical work on site, oversee electricians, and ensure compliance with project specifications in large-scale utility or pipeline projects. Candidates must possess a valid UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK without sponsorship. This is a full-time position with core working hours from Monday to Friday.

Role Overview

Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting an Electrical Site Supervisor for the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) 330 km project by Anglian Water.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all electrical work on the site, including the deployment of site electricians.
• Issue instructions and ensure timely delivery of electrical tasks.
• Interface with subcontractors, monitor compliance, and provide feedback to the Site Manager.
• Assist the Site Manager with all electrical works on a 400 kV substation project.

Requirements

• UK Driving Licence.
• Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship not offered).
• Experienced, qualified Electrical Site Supervisor with a proven track record in large‑scale utility or pipeline projects.

Contract Details

Permanent role; core hours Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Location: West Midlands / Peterborough (site based).
