Qualifications

• Strong electrical bias with practical experience in maintenance engineering.
• Ability to interrogate PLCs is beneficial but not essential.
• Flexibility around working hours is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant equipment throughout all stages of the production process.
• Liaise with contractors and develop effective relationships.
• Promote a safety-first culture and comply with health and safety requirements.
• Monitor plant and perform planned preventative maintenance.
• Manage daily operation of engineering maintenance function.

Skills

Time-served multi-skilled engineer with a strong electrical bias

Fault-finding skills

Knowledge of H&S and Food Safety systems

Continuous improvement experience

Ability to act as a champion of good engineering standards

Education

Formal engineering qualification (OND, ONC, BTEC, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3)
