Overview

Job Title: Electrical Operations Supervisor

A leading organisation focused on creating communities and empowering lives, is seeking a skilled Electrical Operations Supervisor to join our Commercial Services directorate.

In this vital role, you will oversee the delivery of all electrical works across their housing stock, ensuring compliance, safety, and quality. You will lead and motivate a team of electrical professionals, monitoring performance and supporting their development. A key responsibility will be to act as the Qualified Supervisor (QS), reviewing and signing off electrical certification.

Responsibilities

Your daily duties will involve managing electrical installations, responsive repairs, and planned works like full property rewires, aiming for a first-time fix within budget. You will also champion our customer-centric approach to ensure timely resolutions and satisfaction.

Qualifications and requirements
  • Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience in electrical works.
  • Experience holding a "Qualified Supervisor" position with a recognised body (e.g., NICEIC or Napit).
  • Qualifications as an Electrician, including AM2, City & Guilds 2391, 2360 (or equivalents), and City & Guilds 2394/2395 for inspection and testing.
  • Practical competence working to the current edition of BS 7671.
  • A full driving licence and the use of your own vehicle to travel to various properties.
