Overview

Our client, a leading provider of Mechanical and Electrical services, is currently seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Leeds, UK. This permanent, full-time role is critical within the data centre sector, contributing to the execution of large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attending project start-up meetings to understand all project specifications and details
  • Managing technical submittals, ensuring they are issued and approved
  • Raising and managing Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Tracking labour and maintaining weekly progress reports, managing any changes or variations
  • Liaising with main contractors and client-based site teams
  • Overseeing coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment
  • Ensuring materials availability for project completion
  • Implementing the commission plan on site and ensuring construction and commissioning programmes are in place
  • Generating regular snag lists and managing the handover process
  • Scheduling project specifics and coordinating with subcontractors
  • Attending general site meetings and addressing action points
Job Requirements
  • Extensive experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar role
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects
  • Qualification in Construction or Project Management is preferred
  • Experience in supervising teams
  • Strong M&E project management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to maintain detailed progress reports and manage project variations effectively
