Our client BAE Systems, a prominent entity in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Principal Engineer - Electrical Engineering (Power) to join their Submarine Solutions team on a contract basis. This role involves working on cutting-edge submarine projects and contributing to national security initiatives, with hybrid arrangements allowing for flexibility and a 12-month duration. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at either Barrow or Filton site, with limited occasional on-site requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on low voltage systems under 1000 volts
  • Designing and developing electrical power systems
  • Performing power system analysis and modelling
  • Utilising tools and software such as MS Office and possibly Matlab
  • Independently managing tasks and contributing to the project team

Job Requirements:
