Overview

Electrical Mobile Maintenance Engineer - 38 - 41K - Midlands

I am currently representing a leading HVAC specialist who is in search of an Electrical bias multi-skilled Maintenance engineer to join their growing team within the Midlands division. The successful candidate will be providing planned maintenance, servicing & repair to a wide range of Electrical, Mechanical & building services equipment. The main area of coverage would be from Cambridge to Birmingham and in between, working across various commercial sites. The company has four offices in the UK and has grown since launching in 2002. They provide building performance assets, planned and reactive maintenance solutions and capital projects works throughout the UK. They mainly work with a wide variety of retail, hotel and leisure and commercial multi-tenanted office spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide PPM maintenance and breakdown support to electrical and mechanical units across a range of commercial clients and sites.
• Carry out maintenance, service and repair works on Electrical, Mechanical & building services equipment, UPS systems, emergency lighting, pumps/motors, AHUs & HVAC systems, and plumbing & facilities.
• Travel across a coverage area from Cambridge to Birmingham and surrounding sites, working as part of a team of engineers.

Requirements / Qualifications

• 40-hour week availability.
• 18th edition (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent in electrical installations.
• Testing qualifications such as 2391 or 2394/2395 are desirable but not essential.
• AM2 or dual-skill qualifications (e.g., FGAS, Plumbing) are an added bonus but not required.
