JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a General Site Electrical Maintenance Engineer who has electrical and general building maintenance experience with client facing skills.

Working as a General Site Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will assist in all planned and reactive maintenance at the club, including electrical, pool plant and general site maintenance.

As the General Site Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will manage and update the company maintenance jobs log system, liaise with other department heads and colleagues to ensure effective and efficient management of the club and ensure all health & safety requirements are met.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the General Site Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will have the following qualifications and competencies :

Essential
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Strong client facing skills
  • Working knowledge of commercial heating and ventilation
  • Must have a good knowledge of planned maintenance systems
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Ability to use own initiative and manage own work schedule
  • Ability to work well with other team members
  • Good customer care skills including respecting internal and external customers
  • Understanding of current legislation in regard to Health & Safety
  • Good communicator
Desirable
  • Electrical Installation qualification / Electrically qualified to City & Guilds with the 18th edition desirable but not essential
  • Sound knowledge of plumbing, formal qualification an advantage
  • Pool Plant qualification desirable but not essential
  • Experience in a similar environment desirable
