Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer
Location: Wednesfield (WV11), Wolverhampton
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 (DOE) + 18% Shift Allowance
Total Package after shift allowance: £37,760 - £44,840
Contract Type: Permanent
Shifts: 3-shift pattern, Monday - Friday

Are you an experienced Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge? Do you bring strong electrical maintenance skills and thrive in a busy, hands-on environment? If you're based in or around Wednesfield, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

This is a permanent role within a large-scale industrial operation offering a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform breakdown repairs and lead preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Drive engineering solutions to improve processes and help meet productivity targets.
  • Accurately report and log maintenance and repair work using relevant IT and maintenance systems.
  • Contribute to health & safety compliance and continuous improvement activities.
  • Use the planned maintenance system (e.g. Pirana) to raise work orders and report non-conformities.
  • Support root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Maintain clear records to track trends and support process improvements.
Essential Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant electrical trade or a recognized apprenticeship.
  • Strong electrical background with proven experience in fault finding and maintenance.
  • Understanding of current health & safety regulations.
  • Experience working in heavy engineering or industrial environments.
  • Willingness to adapt to new equipment and technologies.
  • Flexible, proactive, and eager to learn.
Desirable:
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems in a heavy industry setting.
