Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Location: Castleford area – Hours: Monday to Friday – Day Shift – Salary: £41,000 – Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Join a leading manufacturing business. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving site performance on a Monday to Friday days-based shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and reactive electrical maintenance on plant machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults on automated and semi-automated lines
• Support site projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and food safety standards
• Keep accurate records of work carried out via CMMS
• Liaise with production and technical teams to minimise downtime and maintain operational targets

About you

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical fault-finding, control panels, sensors, motors, etc.
• Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and solutions-focused
